451 Patientia ( /peɪʃiˈɛntʃiə/ pay-shee-en-chee-ə) is an asteroid of the asteroid belt and with a diameter of 225 km is one of the larger asteroids in the belt. It was discovered by Auguste Charlois on December 4, 1899. Its provisional designation was 1899 EY.
It regularly reaches 11th magnitude in brightness, as in January 11th, 2013 and December 12th, 2017 when in favorable oppositions will be at magnitudes 10.7 and 10.4 respectively, very bright for a later-discovered minor planet.
